The price is $200 per tree and includes Your tree (6-7 feet in height) and tree signage.

- If you would prefer to pay via Venmo, please use @CahabaElementaryPTO. Please include the teacher's name in the payment field.

- If you would prefer to pay by check, please fill out the google form and write the check to "Cahaba Elementary PTO" and list the classroom in the memo section. Checks may be submitted to the front office of the school in a sealed envelope marked "Attn: Barbara Seal". 

Tree Decorating Days

Thursday, December 5,  8:30-1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.- dark

Friday, December 6, 8:30-2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.- dark

Saturday, December 7, 8:30 a.m.- dark

Sunday, December 8, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Supplies to Bring

• LED Lights Only. No exceptions.

• The extension cord must be an OUTDOOR extension cord.

• Decorations must be able to withstand outdoor conditions, wind, and rain.

• Zip-ties, pipe cleaners, string, or other ties to secure your decorations are recommended.

• Plastic drop cloth or other covering for the grass if you plan to spray paint your tree.

• You may want to bring a step ladder. Trees range in height from 6-7 feet tall.

When You Arrive to Decorate

1. You will check in and pick up your sign.

2. You will "claim" your choice of tree with your sign.

3. Bring your lights. Your LED lights and extension cord must be checked before decorating your tree.

Decorating Tips and Rules

• Make sure your decorations are rain and wind-safe. Trees will be standing outside in the elements for 30 days

• Secure ornaments to trees using zip ties, pipe cleaner, string, wire, or other ties. Ornaments will fall off in the wind.

• Do not use water-soluble glue on ornaments.

• Spray any fabrics with Scotch Guard to prevent mildew.

• Please make sure to have an outdoor-rated extension cord and LED lights.

• A representative will check trees daily and will notify you of any lights or decorations that need to be maintained.

• You have until December 8, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. to complete the decorations.
